I did suffer the same confusion - but over the last 5 years (particularly the last one) the angry media has made it abundantly clear that there IS a difference.
Just how people convince themselves that they are in line with righteousness while demonizing their fellow man is still beyond my understanding though.

Allot of people say that I need to choose a side, left or right. But I don't want to. I follow more of the good morals of Confucius, the good way of Christianity and the law of nature. but I don't see myself pure too, since you can't run away from your sins. Two sides are no better than the other, I beat by my drum, trying to be a better person with no hivemind to squeeze into. I'm just Steve.
